John Mertens in U.S. Senate Debate at University of Connecticut Tomorrow (Wed) 8:30-9:30pm #CTsen #mertens2010

The Free and Equal Elections Foundation (www.freeandequal.org) is sponsoring a Connecticut U.S. Senate debate on Wednesday, October 20. All four U.S. Senate candidates that have earned a ballot line have been invited: Richard Blumenthal (D), Linda McMahon (R), John Mertens (CFL), and Warren Mosler (IP). The event will run from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m. EDT and will be held in the Student Union Ballroom (Room 330) at the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus. The debate is also sponsored by the student organization Idealists United. The debate will be moderated by Christina Tobin, President of Free and Equal, and candidate for Secretary of State in California. The debate will be livestreamed on www.freeandequal.org and www.Mertens2010.com

John Mertens and Warren Mosler have committed to participate. Linda McMahon and Richard Blumenthal have not responded to the invitations from Free & Equal.
