  • Wall Street Compensation - A simple bill to provide transparency to stockholders.  Read and discuss.
  • Hedge Fund Loophole - One example of the corporate ownership of our government. Multi-millionaires that pay much lower tax rates than you and I, costing us $6 billion a year.  
  • Supporting Small Businesses - A revenue-neutral plan to create jobs, greatly reduce home and commercial foreclosures, and greatly reduce small business failures. (See “Jobs”)
  • Mortgage Defaults -Temporarily enable bankruptcy judges to cut interest rates on troubled sub-prime mortages.
  • Campaign Finance Reform - We need to end corporate and special interest ownership of our government.
  • Supreme Court Ruling(Citizens United) - I strongly support a constitutional amendment to end corporate citizenship.
  • Gerrymandering - A serious problem with a simple solution.  Gerrymandering guarantees career politicians.  A super majority of congressional seats is not competitive.
  • Corruption in Congress - There are 35,000 registered lobbyists in Washington D.C.  We need to take the money out of politics.
  • No Child Left Behind/Education - We need to listen to teachers, and implement major reform of No Child Left Behind.  I also present other ideas about education. Teachers, students, parents, please send me your comments and concerns!
  • Iraq/Afghanistan - I strongly opposed invading Iraq.  I opposed President Obama’s troop increase in Afghanistan, and instead proposed reducing troops in Afghanistan to 10,000.
  • Gay Rights - I support gay rights and same sex marriage.  Read why.
  • Immigration - I supported the Kennedy/Bush compromise bill.
  • Abortion - I support Roe v. Wade, but I present a nuanced position on abortion.  Labels are dangerous.
  • Farm Subsidies - Reform is long overdue.
  • Outsourcing - End tax breaks for corporations that outsource, without limiting economic activities overseas.
  • Privacy - Keep government and corporations out of our personal lives.
  • Eminent Domain Abuse - I strongly support a constitutional amendment to end Eminent Domain Abuse.
  • Torture - I support a ban on the mistreating of prisoners in U.S. custody.
  • Nutrition and the FDA - Replace the corrupt FDA food pyramid with the Harvard University food pyramid.  Fight epidemic of diabetes and obesity.
  • Term Limits - I support term limits.
